Instructions for how to use the links.
1. For the simple URL, drag your mouse across the URL to
highlight it, copy, then paste into your web creation software as it
is.
2 & 3. For the graphics, right click on the graphic, select 'Save Picture As' then save it to your
hard disk. You can then import it or paste it in to your web pages.
Both graphics are saved as transparent gifs, which means that their
backgrounds will not spoil your web pages. Both graphics are only 5KBs
or less and will take less than 2-3 seconds to download on
a page at 28Kbps modem speeds, or less than 1 second at 56Kbps!
You then need to set the hyperlink properties of the graphic
and include either this website's URL or the book's Amazon page URL. Drag
across one of the URLs below, and copy it.

Add hover tooltips
If you want to be really nifty you can set alternative text
for the images. This enables people with modern browsers to see a tool tip
if they hover over the graphic. Try it on the graphics above. All
you need to do is to enter the alternative representations text on the Picture
Properties menu. You can invent something yourself, or use ours below:
